Coincidence Hypothesist

A Hypothesis is an if-then statement, the proposition of an experiment, that doing X will have outcome Y. Rigorous testing of X, and elimination of confounders, will show the probability of Y being an outcome. Further repetition showing the same or similar probability of the X/Y relationship, by other, neutral experimenters, i.e. “proof”, elevates an Hypothesis to the state of Theory, or reliable, proven science.

Therefore, a Coincidence Hypothesist has never even eliminated confounders, while a Conspiracy Theorist has been reliably demonstrated repeatability of their assertions.
